Travelling to Chamonix - By air

From Airports to Chamonix

Geneva Airport - Buses to Chamonix There are normally several buses a day. The trip takes 2 hours and about 55 euros (return).

From Calais come past Rheims and Macon (not Paris). It's about 8 hours, 900km (560 m) and will cost around 75 €uros in motorway tolls.

Or come down the German motorways (free) and then the Swiss motorways via Basle - Lausanne - Martigny - Chamonix. The Swiss motorway sticker costs 40 Swiss francs and is valid for one calendar year.
